Good health is one of the building blocks for a better life, but only 1 in 3 Americans is living a healthy lifestyle. Whether someone struggles with mental illness or is burdened caring for a sick relative, our initiatives aim to improve the lives of children, adults and seniors. Achieving good health requires us all to become more aware of health risks and the potential effects they have early in life.

Our chapter of United Way is working to extend access to health care and wellness services that will enable more people to live healthier lives.

Character Playbook™ – Building Healthy Relationships is an innovative digital course that uses evidence-based strategies to educate students on how to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships during their critical middle schools years. The program is comprised of six modules that cover key concepts around positive character development, social-emotional learning (SEL), and building healthy relationships. The course will allow students to engage with true-to-life scenarios that include bystander intervention strategies and positive relationship examples. Character Playbook is made possible through a partnership with the National Football League.
