United Way of Greater Newark Hurricane Ida Relief Fund

To address the needs of residents affected by the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Ida, United Way of Greater Newark has established the Hurricane Ida Relief Fund. Residents primarily in Central and Northern New Jersey faced severe flooding and damage from ravaging tornadoes. Many individuals abandoned water filled cars on roadways and highways as they fled for their safety. We are now looking to help those affected recover and we need your help. The Hurricane Ida Relief Fund will directly help residents as they clean, repair, and rebuild their homes. To support those affected, we are accepting donations via https://yougivegoods.com/hurricaneida-relief-2021 or for monetary donations, please visit click our Give Now button and select the Hurricane Ida Fund designation. One hundred percent of all donations received will go directly to those who were impacted by the hurricane.

Help Afghan Refugees at Fort Dix

Local United Ways have come together to assist Afghan families that have been relocated to Fort Dix in New Jersey. As people left their homes, some with very little notice, clothing, personal belongings and basic necessities were left behind. To help ease the burden, we have set up a donation site https://yougivegoods.com/nj-afghan-refugee-2021. There is still time to give!
